An article on page B1 on Wednesday about rezoning an elementary school in Winter Haven incorrectly mentioned a student attending Elwood Elementary. The school was Elbert Elementary.

An article about the proposed CSX rail transfer center on page A1 on Wednesday incorrectly said Lake Wales commissioners passed a resolution May 15 asking DCA officials for DRI review, arguing with that review the project may not get adequate scrutiny. The sentence should have said "without" that review.

A graphic on page A6 on May 24 did not include the science scores of Polk Community College's two charter high schools, Lakeland's PCC Collegiate High School and PCC Chain of Lakes High School in Winter Haven. PCC Collegiate High's juniors earned the school an average scale score of 345, and Chain of Lakes earned a scale score of 333. The science portion of the FCAT is given to high school juniors and graded on a scale of 100-500. In addition, the chart listed the Haines City Literacy Academy, which is no longer operating.
