In regard to proposed legislation to decrease the property taxes for Florida residents, I am reading that there appears to be a subtle attempt to remove the home valuation limit of 3 percent annually, and there is very little being said about it!

Should we permit the removal of this, there will be nothing to circumvent our county commissioners and state officials from raising the tax base without restrictions.

Our legislators and commissioners have long been complaining about this written restriction!

Is this alleged tax modification proposal just another way to subtly remove the thorn in the side of our commissioners and state officials, so they can increase taxes without any controls?

Are we being blindsided by our legislators?

Are we being hoodwinked into allowing this to occur without complaining?

Think about it.
